Parkview High School, formally known as Scism “Nampa Teen Parent” School opened in 1988. Parkview High School was established as a safe, secure, and orderly place for students to learn and excel. We were previously located on Scism Road for 22 years. We have since relocated to the Parkview Elementary building on 15th Avenue in the heart of downtown Nampa, with access to multiple resources including physicians, city bussing, the Boys and Girls Club of Nampa, and many more.
We currently service about 65 pregnant and/or parenting teens between the ages 14 and 21 years. We are a non-traditional high school enrolling grades 9 thru 12 that have not yet earned a diploma or GED. Parkview High has certified teachers, a counselor, a part-time nurse, and quality childcare on site. Each student must reside in the Nampa School District. Students must complete graduation requirements before they turn 21 years of age. Students from outlying school districts are also welcome to attend, depending on space availability.
